Basic Internet Advertising

A couple of tips on doing basic internet advertising to help you get started. We will cover:

1 -- Using Signature Files for VIRAL marketing.

2 -- Using SFI Discussion and Resource Board for
ad placement discussions of 'what is working now'
for many people.

3 -- Creating a BOUNCEBACK campaign.

(The internet is changing all the time. What worked yesterday; may not work today; but may come back into 'vogue/effectiveness' at any time. That's why internet marketing is so interesting!)

So off to our first topic ...

1 -- Using SIM Ads and Setting up your Signature File(s).

Text ads can be used on the internet as well as in many offline ways around your community. Make sure you understand the value of Ad KeyCoding so that you will be able to identify 'what advertising effort' produced Affiliates for you! You want to repeat the ads that are producing for you. By using KeyCoding, a 3-digit code (you keep a
keycode list!), the code you assign is saved with your new Affiliate information and is included on your Genealogy report (found in your MY REPORTS) on the MAIN MENU of your main SFI site.

Pay attention to the emails you receive from your Upline and others and you will see many examples of signature files in use. The important fact is that by forwarding your email on to someone else... and to someone else... etc, you are participating in what is called VIRAL Email Marketing ... and it is a valid advertising technique. Everyone receiving your email sees your signature file advertisement -- as elaborate as you want to make it.

2 -- Using the SFI Discussion and Resource Board to find more information about the topic/thread 'Free Advertising'.

You will find a direct link to the 'SFI Discussion Board' under the heading of KEY RESOURCES. As an SFI Affiliate, you may browse/read through this site full of information. To ASK a QUESTION, POST or PROVIDE a response, you must register as a SFIDBoard User. The SFIDBOARD is moderated and you will find that much effort is made in presenting
factual information.
