Following up, building relationships, and maintaining contact with your SFI affiliates and team members is an absolutely

vital element to building leaders in your Powerline and encouraging your own home business success...so is using

your time wisely. Using the SFI Contact Manager and having a template of ready-made letters you can shoot out to

your SFI affiliates and/or Powerline (if you're a PTL or GL) can help you in both of these areas.

To that end, we've included a complete, pre-written follow-up letter series below, gleaned from the SFI Discussion

Board. Together, these letters are designed to encourage your personally referred affiliates and those in your Powerline

(if you're a PTL) to take action in the SFI program.

Some of these letters are quite long; however, they give a very thorough explanation of SFI and how you can benefit

from it. Feel free to split them up into shorter letters, personalize them with your own style, and tweak them to suit

your own needs. NOTE: To reduce your chances of being turned in for SPAM use SFI's Contact Manager or an autoresponder

system containing a list of your active, personally referred SFI affiliates.

Series Letter #1

SUBJECT: How You Can Make Money With SFI

Dear SFI Affiliate,

Rarely does a day pass that I don't get e-mail from SFI members raving about what a terrific Powerline- building system

Gery Carson of SFI has put together–particularly after all the brand new compensation plan enhancements that

SFI continues to add every year...AND the many new products and programs that have been added to SFI.

As of January 2003, this is even more true! SFI has just greatly enhanced the compensation plan. It is now easier to

understand and more profitable than it has been in the past three years. On top of that, there is also a brand-new flagship

membership offering–the International Association of Home Business Entrepreneurs (IAHBE)–that is already getting

I'm often shocked when I go online, check my Affiliates, and notice that so many members could be earning so much

There are five key steps to building your SFI home business quickly using the SFI system, optimizing ALL your multiple-

income centers, and growing a full-time income as a result:

STEP 1: Learn Everything You Can About The SFI System And Compensation Plan.

STEP 2: Get Multi-Income Qualified (MIQ).

STEP 3: Achieve Powerline Team Leader (PTL) Status.

STEP 4: Sponsor As Many New Affiliates As You Can Every Month Without Fail.

the e-mails will be long, but well worth reading. There is a LOT of information that you'll be receiving that is critical to

your success. If you print them out, you'll be able to refer back to them often as you begin building your business.

SUBJECT: Making Money In SFI, Step 1

STEP #1 - Learn Everything You Can About The SFI System And Compensation Plan.

I'm often surprised at the number of people who write to tell me that this or that network marketing program "isn't

working." In most cases, they don't even have the slightest idea what it would look like if it WERE working. I never fault

anyone for this because when I first started out, I didn’t know either.

Most people don't seem to realize that network marketing companies (like SFI) neither work nor don't work. It is WE

who must do the work and provide the power.

Any opportunity, no matter how great, is only a POTENTIAL for success until you start doing the necessary marketing

and building. Programs don't work all by themselves. Please rest assured that no matter how terrific the SFI System is,

it doesn't work all by itself. Someone in your Powerline is doing the work of building the Parent Powerline that you are

in!

For some of you, having your Powerline leader actually do something that benefits you is a new concept that you

haven't yet experienced that in your network-marketing travels. That is one of the reasons the SFI system is so terrific.

It encourages everyone to help the members in their team build THEIR businesses!

If you've looked at the SFI compensation plan very carefully, you'll quickly discover that in order to earn big money in

the program and qualify for leadership positions, you'll need to start building YOUR OWN Personal Powerline.

You'll also note that just having some referrals in your Parent Powerline that someone else has sponsored won't make

you the money you want! When they purchase something, those people DO contribute to the commissions placed

into the bonus pools every month, which you can share in when you qualify. But you don't directly earn commissions

from their purchases, not unless YOU enrolled them.

Once you are MIQ and qualify for more commissions, you can earn from EVERY Powerline in the company, as well as

EVERY sale. The determining factors regarding HOW MUCH you earn are the actions YOU have taken to build your

business.

Think about it: why should you make money for doing nothing? That's just not how it works in the real world. SFI

would be foolish to pay you commissions for doing nothing to build your company and produce your own sales.

The really BIG money you can make in SFI comes from the work that YOU do for your home business AND the work

that your personally referred MIQ affiliates do. And that means you need to be building your OWN Personal Powerline.

The Powerline that you joined when you became an SFI affiliate is called your "Parent" Powerline. It was started by

someone else above you. Once you start personally referring people, you'll develop your own Personal Powerline. I'll

explain some more about this in a minute.

Once you have your own Personal Powerline, you become a Powerline Team Leader (PTL). This is the most important

leadership level in the company, and SFI will reward you very well for it!

Being a PTL means that you'll get paid for EVERY sale generated in your Powerline, no matter who sponsored the person,

who bought the product, or who in your Powerline made the sale.

As an MIQed affiliate, if you make a first-time sale yourself, not only do you get 40% of the commissionable volume of

that sale, you also get 40% MORE of the commissionable volume on top of that!

But as a PTL, you'll also make an additional 10% of all the commissionable volume generated by EVERYONE in your

Powerline. On top of that, you'll earn a share of the PTL Bonus Pool, additional special override commissions on repeat

sales, and MUCH, MUCH MORE!

You see, working to become a PTL and starting your own Personal Powerline could very well put a LOT of money in

your pocket! And, best of all, it doesn't take very much work at all. Many new SFI affiliates achieve PTL in their very

first month or two. Some of those go on to Group Leader status and earn a VERY NICE full-time income from SFI.

Once you make Group Leader, as I believe you someday will, you'll be VERY CLOSE to a six-figure yearly income!

Let's explain a few things:

What is SVP? You'll see that term a lot in the SFI program. Quite simply, it is Sales Volume Points. Every product in the

SFI line has a certain number of SVP assigned to it. To get Multi-Income Qualified (MIQ), simply buy or sell at least 10

SVP worth of product per month. We'll go into more detail about that later.

Becoming MIQ is the first and one of the most important steps toward getting your PTL status. One of the things that

really drives me crazy is the number of people I see who haven't even done the small amount of work required to

become a Powerline Team Leader (PTL)!

And when I talk to people about it, the excuse I often get is that they are waiting to make a profit first before they start

buying co-op shares or doing other promotions to sponsor affiliates.

Well, I'm here to tell you, folks, if you want to make a profit in your business, you MUST sponsor affiliates and start

your own Personal Powerline!

SFI makes this as easy as possible: simply get three personally referred affiliates to MIQ in a given month. Then, start

your own Personal Powerline.

That's it! Just three (3) MIQ affiliates...you could do it in your first month, if you really want to. Can you personally refer

THREE new MIQ affiliates a month and teach just THREE others in your new Powerline to do the same? If you can,

after one year you could be earning more than $500 a month. After just two years, you could be earning more than

I'll repeat a very important concept again: you will make the most money by sponsoring affiliates and building your

Personal Powerline! Building your own Powerline makes you a Powerline Team Leader, and PTL's are eligible to earn

money in 8 of the 9 commission streams in the SFI compensation plan.

One of those streams include your earning 10% Gold overrides on ALL the commissionable volume of sales, including

those affiliates purchasing or selling products for their own MIQ status, in your Personal Powerline.

This bonus can become HUGE when you consider that you don't have to personally enroll all of those affiliates yourself

–you'll be earning commissions on sales generated by others' referrals!! That means that, as more of your referrals

refer others, you'll get those 10% Gold override commissions on more and more people EVERY SINGLE MONTH!

So you can see that–in order to get the ball rolling and start building more income for yourself–you'll want to get your

3 MIQ affiliates in your Parent Powerline (and become MIQ yourself) as quickly as you can. That makes you a PTL and

starts your own Personal Powerline.

THEN start building it like crazy for much higher commissions and more income in a short time!

If you haven't taken a look at the SFI compensation plan, you probably didn't know any of this. That's why it's absolutely

ESSENTIAL that you understand the SFI Powerline system and the SFI compensation plan! You cannot optimize

your earnings if you don't know how the system works or how you get paid. It simply won't happen otherwise.

And there is no excuse for not knowing. EVERY new affiliate is sent the Vital Knowledge training course that explains

exactly how SFI works, and what you must do to make money with it. If you didn't get those e-mails, let me know!

On top of that, the SFI site is filled with information to help you understand the system and how you can best take

advantage of it. If you are serious about earning a full-time income from SFI, you must first begin by reading and learning

SUBJECT: Making Money In SFI, Step 2

STEP #2 - Get Multi-Income Qualified (MIQ).

Many of the Affiliate's I refer often ask me why they should buy a product after becoming a free SFI affiliate. This is a

very valid question that you may have even wondered about yourself.

First, you need to understand that the SFI Powerline structure is actually a very powerful support system designed to

help you build a lasting and profitable SFI home business. Gery Carson, the founder of SFI, created SFI to provide

every affilaite with a quick and easy way to build an network marketing business across the globe via the Internet.

Second, you should be aware that even though you can make a little bit of money without getting MIQ, you will

NEVER make the BIG money. And that's what we all want, isn't it?

As a free SFI affiliate, you can certainly retail the SFI products to friends, family, and customers. But these products

only pay you a ONE-TIME 40% of the commissionable volume on the sale. You'll have to sell a lot of products and

have a lot of customers EVERY MONTH to make a full-time income!

In contrast, becoming Multi-income Qualified (MIQ) allows you to earn from FOUR (4) different income streams.

You won't just earn a 40% one-time commission when you sell an SFI product. Instead, you'll ALSO earn 40% of the

commissionable volume of every sale EVERY SINGLE MONTH that customer continues to buy!

On top of that, you'll earn 5% Bronze Overrides on all the sales in the Powerlines of your personally-enrolled members!

Over time, that can be a HUGE source of income.

PLUS, if you're one of SFI's top 100 sellers, you'll earn an additional 3% of the commissionable volume you generate.

This RESIDUAL income is money you'll earn month after month after month, without doing any extra work! It allows

you to "sell" the program to new affiliates once and keep earning money. Your SFI commission check could realistically

generate thousands of dollars from all these different bonuses every month.

On top of that, once you get MIQ, SFI starts banking one share of the PTL Bonus Pool in your name EVERY month that

you are MIQ!

That's right! SFI starts saving your bonus pool share, even though you haven't yet achieved Powerline Team Leader

(PTL) status. They bank that in your name. Then when you become a PTL, you get a check for all the shares they've

banked for you!

Last month, one share of the PTL Bonus Pool was worth $25. Think about that–that's almost the entire cost of getting

MIQ to start with ($29.95 for an IAHBE membership worth 10SVP)! And SFI is going to put it aside for you every single

month until you make PTL. After that, the bonus pool will become part of your monthly commissions for as long as

you remain a PTL.

What if it takes you six months to achieve PTL status? Then you'll have six (6) bonus pool shares banked in your name.

If each is worth $25, then you'll get a nice check for $150 added to your commissions when you make PTL. If it takes

you a year, you'll have an extra $300 to look forward to. And remember...this is just ONE BONUS in the SFI compensation

It's as simple as that. There are no hidden traps or almost impossible requirements to meet to attain the leadership

positions and earn a high income in your SFI home business.

So many network marketing programs have almost impossible requirements before they start paying their leaders a

decent income. They often require thousands and thousands of dollars worth of sales before you reach that level.

Not SFI!

You just have to sponsor three (3) MIQ affiliates and become MIQ yourself to achieve PTL. Then, recruit just 10 personally

referred PTL's to achieve Group Leader status. Each of those positions adds many bonuses to your check!

You can start making money in SFI right away as you start building your business.

The SFI program benefits part-timers, as well as "heavy hitters" and full-time network marketers. It is one of the most

straightforward, yet very profitable, plans I've ever seen.

In fact, SFI boils the whole system of building a six-figure income down to six very simple straightforward steps:

1. Become an affiliate.

2. Complete Smart Start.

3. Get Multi-income Qualified (MIQ).

4. Achieve the PTL qualifications. (Just 3 personally- enrolled MIQ affiliates).

5. Start your Personal Powerline, and add PTL income.

6. Develop 10 new personally referred PTL's and you'll become a Group Leader and add Group Leader income.

That's it! Six steps to a six-figure annual income! If you haven't read all the details of this simple plan, just point your

Thankfully, the SFI compensation plan is so lucrative, that you are going to be making a LOT of money BEFORE you

ever get to step six!

Let's take a look at how the new compensation plan works. There are nine (9) different bonuses and commissions in

the SFI comp plan.

AS A FREE AFFILIATE, YOU EARN

BONUS #1: Seller's Commission–You earn 40% of the Commission Volume (CV) of all your personal sales.

WHEN YOU BECOME MIQ, YOU ADD 3 MORE BONUSES:

BONUS #2: Miq Seller's Commission–You earn 40% of the CV of all your personal sales EVERY SINGLE MONTH that

affiliate continues to buy!

And that's ON TOP of Bonus #1. So, the first month you get a new MIQ affiliate, you are going to earn 80% of the

commissionable volume on that sale!! Please note that Bonus #2 gives you Residual Income. You not only earn the

one-time 40% commission when someone you sponsor gets MIQ by buying 10 SVP of product, you also earn the

40% commission on that member each and every month that they remain MIQ.

Now think about that–as an MIQed affiliate yourself, for every personally referred affiliate who MIQs through a membership

to SFI's International Association of Home Business Entrepreneurs (IAHBE), you could earn a residual income

of $96 per year (assuming that affiliate remains an IAHBE member for the entire year) from just Bonus #2. Ten IAHBE

members could earn you $960 per year; 100 could pay you $9,600 per year.

That's the magic of residual income. For example, if you are MIQ and get three MIQ affiliates to join the IAHBE for only

$29.95/month, you'll get $24/month from just Bonus #2 alone.

And that's just what you'll earn from Bonus #2 alone! As an MIQed affiliates, you can also generate money from two

other sources:

BONUS #3: Top 100 Bonus Pool–Every month, 3% of all CV, company-wide (excluding first month sales), is placed in

SFI's TOP 100 BONUS POOL. If you are one of SFI's 100 top sellers for the month, you will receive one (1) share of the

TOP 100 BONUS POOL for each SVP you generated from new sales for that month. Every month, the top 100 sellers

are listed on the SFI Scoreboard site, which is updated in real time. It can be fascinating to check it every day, particularly

if you are getting a lot of new MIQ affiliates!

BONUSES #4: 5% Bronze Overrides–This is a 5% bonus on all the CV in your personal referral's powerlines. When

affiliates whom you have personally referred to SFI start their own Personal Powerlines, you earn 5% override commissions

on all the CV generated in those Powerlines, for as long as you remain MIQ.

Here's an example: You have referred John to SFI. John builds a Powerline that has $5,000 in CV this month. Because

you referred John, you earn a $250 override (5% of $5,000 CV = $250).

Now think about this: this is what you can earn from just ONE Bonus and just ONE person you have sponsored who is

building their business.

What if you sponsor five (5) people whom each have $5,000 CV in their powerlines?

You would earn $1,250 PER MONTH.

What if you have 10 people?

You would earn $2,500 PER MONTH.

Another thing to think about: once you are a PTL, these overrides (which we'll discuss in a minute) can increase to

20%!!! And remember, that doesn't include the income you are also earning from Bonuses #1, #2, and #3!

Something else you should especially pay attention to is the fact that once someone is MIQ, you don't have to keep

selling to them over and over and over again to make any money. You do the work ONE TIME and continue to profit

every single month they stay in the program!

As a free affiliate, you have to sell something EVERY month to more and more new customers to keep earning the

same income. If you don't continue doing more and more, your income never increases at all! You just spin your

wheels staying in the same place.

Not so if you are MIQ!

Every month's performance builds on the last month. If you sponsor the same number of new MIQ affiliates every

month, the commissions you earn on them ADD to the commissions you earn on the MIQ's you sponsored the previous

month and the month before that and so on. You can do the same amount of work, yet watch your check get bigger

and bigger.

But your commissions don't stop there! Three is a magic number in the SFI compensation plan, and 3 MIQ affiliates

qualifies you to start your own Personal Powerline and become a Powerline Team Leader, qualifying you for four (4)

more income streams!

BONUS #5: 5% Silver Overrides–As a PTL, when your personally referred affiliates start their own Personal

Powerlines, you earn 5% Silver Override commissions on all CV in those Powerlines.

Now remember, you are ALREADY earning the 5% Bronze overrides on this very same CV. As a PTL, the Silver overrides

bring that amount up to 10%.

For example: You have referred John to SFI. John builds a Powerline that has $5,000 CV this month. Because you

referred John, you earn a $250 Bronze override (5% of $5,000 CV = $250). PLUS you now earn a 5% Silver override,

for ANOTHER $250! That doubles your earnings on John's Powerline to $500.

What if you had 10 people with $5,000 CV powerlines? Your income from JUST THESE 2 BONUSES increases to

$5,000 per month. (And folks, if you continue to work this program, you eventually will! Never doubt it!)

And never forget–as a PTL, you earn eight total bonuses from the SFI compensation plan. The above example shows

you what you can achieve from just two of those bonuses. When you add in the other bonuses, your income can be

the stuff you've only dreamed of!

BONUS #6: 10% Gold Overrides–You earn 10% override commissions on all CV in your Personal Powerline. Now here

is what you should particularly pay attention to: This applies to BOTH personally-enrolled affiliates AS WELL AS those

who were referred by others.

Example: You are a Powerline Team Leader. You have 320 affiliates in your Personal Powerline who generate $15,000

CV this month. You would earn a $1,500 override ($15,000 CV x 10% = $1500) just in Gold Overrides ALONE!

As you will soon see, as you build your Personal Powerline larger and larger, this bonus can result in an incredible

amount of income over time that you won't have to do a thing to earn!

How can that be? Well, under this new compensation plan, everyone must first sponsor three (3) MIQ affiliates into

their Parent Powerline before they can start their own Personal Powerline. When you sponsor someone into your

Personal Powerline, YOUR line is THEIR Parent Powerline.

So when they become MIQ, they have to add at least three (3) MIQ affiliates to YOUR line before they can start their

own. Those three (3) MIQ affiliates will pay you 10% of commissionable volume per month EACH just from this Gold

Override Bonus. And remember, you didn't have to spend one red cent to sponsor those MIQ affiliates. One of your

personal referrals was required to do it.

Does your personally referred affiliate lose out? Hardly. They still earn the 40% of commissionable volume residual

income bonus on those three affiliates, plus the other bonuses we've already talked about. They get rewarded. You get

rewarded. It's a win-win situation.

Now, what happens when those three (3) affiliates your referrals just added to your Personal Powerline want to start

THEIR own lines?

You got it! They are in your Personal Powerline, so THEY have to ALSO sponsor three (3) MIQ affiliates into your line

before they can start their own. That means YOU get nine (9) more MIQ affiliates that pay you 10% a month in commissionable

volume, and you didn't spend a penny to sponsor them.

Those nine affiliates will end up adding 27 MIQ affiliates if they want to progress in SFI. And those 27 will add 81.

Those 81 will add 243. And on and on. And–all the while–YOU'LL be collecting 10% Gold overrides EVERY MONTH on

each and every one!

And remember that all these hundreds of MIQ affiliates are the result of just ONE person in your line becoming MIQ

and working to start their own Powerline!

Think about what happens when the people you sponsor start sponsoring their required three. Eventually, you could

have hundreds, then thousands, of affiliates in your Powerline, all adding 10% apiece to your commission check. And

again, YOU didn't have to sponsor these people!

That's the power of this compensation plan and this one requirement. It forces your affiliates to help you build your

Personal Powerline in order for them to start their own. This one requirement will eventually add explosive growth to

your Personal Powerline and LOTS of income without any extra work on your part.

Think of it like an Automatic Recruiting System. If you just keep building your Personal Powerline and getting your affiliates

MIQ, THEY will keep adding more and more and more affiliates to your line as well! In fact, eventually, they'll give

you many times the number of affiliates as you personally enrolled yourself.

All those MIQ affiliates working toward starting their own lines are going to end up doing the lion's share of the work

for you! No, this certainly won't happen overnight. You must first build a base and get your Powerline to the size that it

will start producing for you.

But if you just stick with this program, you can see how very powerful it really is! And it's going to happen a lot faster

than you could ever imagine. Eventually you won't have to add any more affiliates to your own line at all. And yet, it

will keep growing anyway.

Eventually, you'll become a Group Leader and will be off helping others achieve that goal in their own lines!

BONUS #7: 10% Platinum Overrides–When affiliates in your Personal Powerline start their own Personal Powerlines,

you earn 10% override commissions on all CV in those Powerlines. These powerlines are called "Offshoot Powerlines."

NOTE: This applies to both affiliates who you have personally referred to SFI as well as those who were referred by

others!

For example: You are a Powerline Team Leader. Seven affiliates (not all personally referred by you) in your Personal

Powerline start their own Powerlines. These "Offshoot" Powerlines generate $20,000 CV this month. You would earn a

$2,000 override ($20,000 CV x 10% = $2000).

Combine this override with the Bronze and Silver 10% Overrides you earn on Powerlines started by your Personal

Referrals, and you can actually earn a whopping 20% of the total of the commissionable volume!

Remember John from our example above?

Let's say John builds a Powerline that has $5,000 CV this month. Because you referred John, you earn a $250 Bronze

override, a $250 Silver Override, AND a $500 Platinum Override.

Total earned from just John's Powerline: $1,000 per month!

If you had 10 people who equal John's accomplishment, you would earn $10,000 per month.

100 people would pay you the astronomical figure of $100,000 per month!

And again, this is just from just three (3) bonuses!

But don't forget, you'll earn that 10% Platinum Override on ANY and ALL Powerlines started by ANYONE in your personal

Powerline!

Remember how everyone had to "give" you 3 MIQ affiliates before they could start their own line? And remember how

all that activity could eventually build you a line many times what you could build by yourself?

If you have 10 personally enrolled PTL's, think about how many NON-personally enrolled PTL's you could have!

Eventually, 10 times as many or more. And that means another 100 Powerlines you'll be earning a 10% override on.

There you have it! A compensation plan that pays you a share of ALL the sales made in the entire company, for every

SUBJECT: Making Money In SFI, Step 3

STEP #3 - Achieve Powerline Team Leader (PTL) Status.

Without your own Personal Powerline, you'll never make enough money in SFI to build a full-time income! Quite simply,

this is at the heart of the SFI system. And once you understand it completely, you'll probably be struck by its

absolute brilliance as a system for rapid growth!

But unless you completely understand the Powerline system and the SFI compensation plan, you probably don't

understand just how much money you can make from an SFI home business of your own.

In the previous e-mail in this series, you learned just how much money a PTL can make in SFI. Now, let's go over a few

of the basics of the PTL system:

When you first joined SFI, you were placed into the Powerline of the person who sponsored you. This is your PARENT

Powerline. The person who started your Parent Powerline is your Powerline Team Leader (PTL). This Parent Powerline

is THEIR "Personal" Powerline.

As you will note, a Powerline can really grow quickly from a little bit of promotion. And over time, with all the affiliates

in that line also sponsoring affiliates, it can really start to explode! As a result, everyone in that line will benefit, since

each new affiliate goes into that line.

When you get your own Powerline and it begins to grow and your Affiliates begin to form their own lines, your total

group will be expanding. You benefit tremendously from this growth. When one of your personally enrolled Affiliates

starts their own Powerline, you get 20% in Bronze, Silver, and Platinum Overrides on the commissionable volume generated

in these new Powerlines.

As a PTL, you'll earn more and more Override Commissions without doing a single bit of additional work!!! Now that's

where this system can really be powerful. With a working, contributing team of personally referred affiliates, your

Overrides are going to start growing exponentially every single month once you become a Powerline Team Leader

(PTL).

Do you see why it is so important to work with your members and make sure they are working the system?

Eventually, the work of your team members is going to contribute to the majority of your earnings in the program!

Quite literally, your team of working home-business owners will enable YOU to retire.

Just dream a little bit and think about where you will be in two to three years if you really put in the effort right now.

You should easily be a Group Leader by then. At that point, you really could retire and yet your income would just

keep growing! Do you think that would be a worthwhile goal? Would that be worth putting in the extra effort right

now?

For most people, the answer is a resounding "YES!"

Without this program, you probably have many more years of work to look forward to (or dread, as the case may be),

and a tiny retirement income to look forward to at the end of that. Wouldn't you rather have the ability to retire in two

to three years, even if it meant a little bit of extra work and sacrifice right now?

Once you've become a PTL, the next goal you should be shooting for is Group Leader status. Attaining this position

will get you a share in the HUGE GL bonus pool.
