We'll shift gears today and talk about one of SFI's most powerful yet often under-used resources: The SFI Discussion Board.
The SFI Discussion Board ("DBoard" for short), located at http://www.sfidboard.com and was developed especially for affiliates. It is a gathering place for all who are earnest about succeeding with their SFI business. It is a place for people who take responsibility for their business and want to learn and share with others in a positive, empowering manner.
The SFI Discussion Board can be described as a virtual classroom with thousands of teachers and students (currently, over 21,000 affiliates participate).
At the DBoard you can:
- Brainstorm with your fellow SFI affiliates
- Get your questions answered
- Find a mentor
- Help other affiliates
- Discuss business strategies and ideas
- Learn about exciting new developments
- Search, using keywords, to find information on almost anything related to SFI.
The DBoard is currently divided into 15 topic forums covering everything from the compensation plan to Powerlines to reviewing marketing/lead generation methods to personal Website development and critique.
Most recently we have added a Topic 'SFI NEWS' where you can review and discuss each new SFI Annouoncement!
In addition, there are seven different product forums that provide affiliates the opportunity to share their successes and methods of promoting a particular product line. What all this adds up to is a dedicated forum for just about any topic an affiliate would want to discuss.
But that's not all; the "From the Heart" forum is dedicated to sharing inspiring messages and thoughts while "Friday Chuckles" is on the lighter side, featuring wholesome humor and insights.
The discussion board is staffed by experienced affiliates who have volunteered to share their time and knowledge by serving as moderators. Their willingness to share what's working and what's not with the entire affiliate base in a positive light makes this discussion board like none other.
I and other SFI corporate staff also personally visit the discussion board regularly to add our perspectives and clarifications to the discussions. No where else that I know of can you get this kind of open and honest communication from a organization of SFI's size.
It's true that success does not happen overnight but GRADUALLY through persistence and education. The discussion board is a perfect place to get that education, encouragement and inspiration to help you make your SFI business into whatever you want it to become.
